I guess BJ is a bitch after all huh? I mean didnt he cal GSP a bitch for tapping out due to strikes? He pretty much did the same thing. But in all seriousness, I hope this will spark Penn to stay in his natural weight class.

And damn how good did Machida look? Now that a Machida i enjoyed watching.

Jon Jones a contender???

Jon Jones has looked impressive so far especially for only training in MMA for 20 months. Other than his wrestling in college I believe. That is what they said on the ESPN Post Show. Only being 21 he definitely looks like he will be a contender but I don't see it being for at least another couple years. The upper tier of that division is just way to good for him right now.

I would have actually gave Diaz the win. I don't have a big problem with Guida getting it because he did control the fight for the most part. However all he was doing was holding on to Diaz. I mean I just don't see how Guida was scoring any points by just holding on to him.

I thought the Dong-er looked good in the first round. The other two rounds Karo probably did win. Although I wouldn't have had a problem with the Dong-er winning a split decision either.

Machida definitely without a question deserves the next title shot. I surely hope they manage to get that in before giving Rampage another shot. They could give Machida the first shot at Evans and Rampage can get the winner.

I think BJ Penn just realized how much he loves the 155 lb. division now. At least he better. St. Pierre was just too much for him.

Very nice card. Lots of decisions.

I did think Diaz was more offensive but control belonged to Guida.

Jones did a good job and had an awesome throw but needs to work on his cardio. I would like to see him fight Bonnar again after the rust of not fighting a year has worn off.

I have never been a Machida fan until tonight. That was very impressive finish of a dangerous striker in Silva.

nooooo what's worse is having an old man that stayed out all night leaving you at home pregnant with a 3yr old and not able to order the fight because my child would have been neglected!

on a lighter note though....GSP BABY!!!!!!! WHOO!!!!!!!!!! :)

I didn't realize Machida had that punching power. I mean prior to the KO he had knocked Thiago down twice right? I don't recall seeing that punching power before.

Ha! Ha! Ha! Kick a man when he is down, i see how it is. Sorry it takes me so long to reply, i heard from a little birdie that you wrote something like this. I don't think i missed a whole lot, I watched it on Monday and the most impressive part i seen was the Burps Clay was getting out.

Anyways, women get a little bitchy and nuts sometimes, but at least I do get some every now and then. How bout you Mattman? :D I am making up for last weekend though, i'm at Collinsville right now and going to a Hockey game tonight. Go Blues! I will try and have a beer for everyone tonight. Hope everyone gets to watch the fight night tonight, i am going to miss one again, at least it isn't because "my old lady won't let me". LOL!

The burps by Guida was the only offensive moves of the night he had. The rest of the night he was just hugging Diaz.

Well Congrats on getting out of the house Ghoss.

As for the getting some.... Uhhh.... Uhhh.... look there is Gina Carano!!!!

I agree, that fight pissed me off, for all the energy he had going to the ring, you would think he would have fought a little and not just try and submit him with hugs.

Nice pic too!
